Acupuncture is one facet of Chinese Medicine which is one of the most ancient and considered the safest medical practices used worldwide by the World Health Organization. Painless, hair-thin sterile needles are placed along energy lines in your body to stimulate your body's natural healing mechanisms to produce profound and long-lasting benefit. Other therapies applied in conjunction with the acu-points are cupping, auricular therapy, moxibustion, and infrared heat. Our master-level acupuncturists have extensive herbal medicine training and when appropriate, offer formulas designed to treat your condition and to strengthen your body's constitution. Food is medicine and there is a lot of ways to optimize your healing process through the introduction of various foods. Our experienced Acupuncturists can advise you on which foods may be harmful to ingest and provide more information about a diet plan for your condition.

Cupping

Cupping involves painlessly creating a vacuum in small vessels on the surface of the skin. Once the dermal layers are lifted, any poorly circulated blood and toxins from the body are lifted to the skin's surface to be redistributed and eliminated properly. This treatment is effective for conditions such as muscle tension and the common cold. Add this onto your acupuncture session or come in ... Read More

If you have thick scars anywhere on the body, cellulitis, age spots, or wrinkles, this is an amazing and ALL natural treatment. In fact, it’s the only treatment for these conditions that benefits your WHOLE body!

MicroNeedling is recommended once a month and can be used in conjunction with facial rejuvenation needles for best effects to smooth out wrinkles, age spots, and revitalize the skin for a youthful glow.

***Please stay informed about where you are getting MicroNeedling. Aestheticians are no longer legally allowed to do this procedure in California, but Acupuncturists are.
Fun Facts:
• An average 206% increase in collagen and up to 1,000% increase in collagen production after a single treatment.
• A possible 140% increase in epidermal thickness.
• Patients described an average 80% improvement in post burn scars with micro needling.
• Some forms of microneedling can increase the absorption of some products through the skin by up to 10,000 times.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

We start with a cleanse and a massage with numbing cream. A few body acupuncture points are inserted to calm the mind, body, and spirit. The microneedling itself generally takes around 10-15 minutes, and then we apply a stem cell serum and hyaluronic serum and our hemp-based moisturizer.

Treatments are fast (30-45 mins), gentle and results are research proven to last 3-5 years! The best part - it is all natural!
It can be an intense sensation. Some describe it as stimulating, others might feel more discomfort. Fortunately, it’s a fast process and afterwards your skin typically feels wonderfully alive, bright and invigorated. The first session may feel the strangest because it’s completely new.

***On rare occasions, bruising and bleeding may occur.

TREATMENT PLAN:
We recommend no more than one treatment per month, because skin cellular turnover and the healing cycle takes that long. It generally takes four to six treatments to get great results, and then you can taper down to every 5 -6 month maintenance treatments.

This treatment can greatly benefit from adding Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture. Cosmetic Acupuncture targets the underlying musculature, by stimulating ’motor points’ within muscles, causing them to remember how to fire, lift and firm. Facial rejuvenation also works on treating internal imbalances that contribute to how our skin looks. Microneedling, on the other hand, treats the uppermost layer of the skin, triggering that healing response for a wonderful regenerative and collagen-producing action all over the face and neck.

Cosmetic acupuncture is a gentle, non-surgical way to naturally fill in wrinkles, tone facial muscles for a facelift effect, and improve skin quality. By inserting painless needles locally into the skin on the face, we harmlessly stimulate collagen and elastin production, improve lymphatic drainage, relieve jaw pain and clear sinuses and acne.

For those who have scars from surgeries or accidents, we can use the tiny sterile needles to break up the facial adhesions below the surface to free the energy channels. This reduces pain and blockage to neighboring internal structures (such as organs for deep abdominal surgeries) and reduces the appearance of the scars.

Clinically proven results. We recommend a nutrition and herbal consult for best results. Results vary from person to person depending on age and lifestyle, but you’ll likely notice subtle changes to your skin tone and fine lines after just three treatments. Deeper wrinkles will start to vanish after about six treatments, with lasting changes to overall complexion, skin tone and texture and improved muscle toning and tightness after 12 treatments.
